The full functionality of the calibre F900 according to Citizen is: "Eco-Drive, Accuracy of ± 5 seconds per month, Satellite Timekeeping System (Reception Area: Worldwide), Global Positioning System, World Time in 40 Cities, Dual Time Display Function, Chronograph of 1/20-second measurement for 24 hours, Light-Level Indicator and Power Reserve Indicator, Perpetual Calendars." You can see that in addition to the two new subdials on the dial of the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F900 watch, versus the F100, there are a host of new functions which are lead by the ability to persistently see two time zones on the dial at all times - clearly, an important use of a travel watch.
We don't have pictures of all the Scuderia Ferrari Formula Italia S watches, but we do have the limited edition of 1000 pieces model which is above in its bright yellow and black color tones. Even though this is a very modern looking racing-style chronograph watch, is has apparently been inspired by the instrument gauges on a 1961 Ferrari 156 Formula 1 race car. The Scuderia Ferrari Formula Italia S collection will have 44 and 46mm-wide versions with slightly more intricate cases and dials. The added details are going to be hit or miss depending on your tastes. I happen to like the more simple looking Scuderia Ferrari Formula Italia collection - especially because I know at these prices, more simple dials and materials tend to look better.
Unless you have been living under a huge rock, chances are you would have heard that Apple recently had an event where they announced more details, including pricing and availability, about their new Apple Watch. This is the first all-new Apple device since the iPad and it is expected to fly off shelves when it is finally released next month. Everything you need to know about the Apple Watch and its price is in the link below.
Likewise, today, many tech pundits are complaining that smartwatches are an answer to a question no one was asking. I disagree. I feel that consumers have been wanting to wear technology and make technology a more personal part of their daily routines. Mobile phones have become indispensable for most people, but they still act like extra appendages that people don't know what to do with. Simply observe a crowd of people, and notice how many are awkwardly walking around with their phones in their hands versus in a pocket or bag. Communication technology is meant to be accessible all the time and reserved for occasional use. As we use connected devices for more and more purposes, the notion that they are supposed to sit waiting hidden away from view will becoming increasingly archaic. It's only logical that devices become something you wear - even if we need to take baby steps to get there.
We agree that it is interesting to see all the new crowd-funded wrist watch projects that seem to pop up all the time, but our money would only ever go to those project owners who have already demonstrated the skill and ability to produce a watch, and if we are extremely patient and understanding when it comes to production timelines and what the eventual product is going to look like. While funding production is much less risk for business owners when using crowd-sourcing for any type of product, a lot of risk still exists and can be said to be passed right on to the consumer.

Change number two: The knights are no longer pink gold; they are bronze. I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on this choice. I certainly like the aesthetic change, as I think the darkness and slight patina of bronze really works with the high-polished white gold surround and the black jade table around which the knights' swords mark out the hours, but some may be disappointed that Roger Dubuis chose a less precious metal for what was, in the original model at least, the centrepiece.
